INS-313x Radar Sensor

The INS-313x is a 2in1 radar sensor for Home Automation and Security Applications. The 24GHz Doppler radar combines the functionality of a motion detector with the proximity switch control. The product recognises presence right in the nearfield of the antenna and detects moving objects within a detection range of 5m. So, it can be used as digital trigger for e.g. light control in two different ways. The user can switch on the light by entering the detection zone automatically or switch on the light by holding the hand within less than 5cm in front of the touchless button. The INS-313x offers three open collector outputs with indicator LEDs: Two lights for each direction of detected movement and one shows the activation of the proximity switch function.
