The SMR-333 is a simple radar-based motion detector working in the 24GHz frequency band. As a CW radar module it captures the velocity and direction of moving objects. Due to the small product design, it is possible to place it even in devices with little space like light switches. The radar sensor can be used for diverse automation applications in the industrial, home and security sector. The SMR-333 is mountable with standard SMT process and will be delivered on Tape & Reel. It also comes with a low duty-cycle pulse mode. This capability supports low-power applications. The antenna design of the SMR-333 has a narrow field of view.
InnoSenTs SMR-Series includes four product variants.
The SMR 3x3 are CW radar modules for detection of velocity and motion direction. The SMR-313 also supports a CW modulation, but comes with a different antenna pattern for a wide field of view by the same interface.
The SMR 3x4 support FMCW modulations and detect presence and distance of objects. The SMR-Series does not include signal processing.
