Donnersdorf (Germany), 05/05/2021. InnoSenT’s iSYS-5005 radar system has qualified for the next round of the PSI Premier Award from the British industry magazine PSI. The product has made it to the final round and is now up for a public vote. From today until 21/06/2021, it is possible to vote for InnoSenT’s radar solution in the category ‘Access Control Product of the Year’.
In May 2020, InnoSenT launched an innovative sensor solution for security surveillance and perimeter protection. The iSYS-5005 radar system is equipped with advanced 3D MIMO technology and high resolution for precisely distinguishing objects. This product boasts such features as anonymous radar tracking and the configuration of alarm and ignore zones for near-range detection for the first time. This enables up to 8 objects, vehicles, or people to be tracked as well as the detection area to be optimally adapted to local conditions.
The product determines the speed, direction, distance, and angular position of even very slow-moving objects and enables them to be positioned within the coverage area. Small animals can be filtered out by adjusting the detection sensitivity. The maximum range is 15 metres.
The PSI Premier Award is held annually by the specialist magazine PSI and awards outstanding products, distributors, and technical innovations in the field of security technology each year. In 2021, there were 7 categories to choose from when submitting a nomination proposal. After the PSI specialist jury made its decision, up to 12 candidates made it into the final round for each category – from software and technological solutions to products for security surveillance, training courses, and companies in the security sector.
The winners determined by the vote are to be announced at a festive award ceremony in June. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has not been officially declared as to what form the event will take.
