Donnersdorf, 22/12/2022. At the end of the year, the high-tech company InnoSenT GmbH traditionally supports charitable organizations from the region. The company has been supporting good causes for many years and therefore refrains from giving away gifts for business partners at Christmas. This year's donation of 3000 euros will benefit two associations: The food bank “Schweinfurter Kindertafel e.V.” and the animal protection association “Tierschutzverein Stadt und Landkreis Schweinfurt e.V.”.
As in the previous year, employees were able to decide which organization will be supported by the company financially. For this, suggestions of possible social projects or associations were placed and presented by the workforce. All suggestions that have a regional connection and an object worth supporting in the areas of culture, public welfare or health were permitted. A total of 9 different organizations then stood for election in an anonymous vote. The project with the most votes should receive the company's donation. This year, however, the voting result was so close that the management decided to support two organizations: The “Schweinfurter Kindertafel e.V.” and the “Tierschutzverein Stadt und Landkreis Schweinfurt e.V.” each received a donation of 1500 euros.
The “Schweinfurter Kindertafel e.V.” supports with numerous voluntary helper needy children in the region. They have launched many different campaigns to help disadvantaged children, families and people living in poverty with property or the provision of food. Examples of this are the school lunch, the soup kitchen for warm meals, the gift fence or the Christmas house. The animal protection association “Tierschutzverein Stadt und Landkreis Schweinfurt e.V. (Tierheim Schwebheim)” takes care of the welfare of animals in the region. Donations make it possible to take care of abandoned, runaway or abandoned animals. The association nurses neglected or found animals and offers an environment that is as species-appropriate as possible until the animals have found a new home.
